How to use C++ Program to Add, Subtract, Multiply or Divide

C++ program takes an arithmetic operator (+, -, *, /) and two operands from an user and performs the operation on those two operands depending upon the operator entered by user.

C++ has a way of doing things.. without the iostream the program won't work, so be careful why programming with c++.
C++ is good to learn for every students in computer science and other students that want to learn..

Codes to use while programming C++
# include <iostream>
using namespace std;

int main()
{
    char op;
    float num1, num2;

    cout << "Enter operator either + or - or * or /: ";
    cin >> op;

    cout << "Enter two operands: ";
    cin >> num1 >> num2;

    switch(op)
    {
        case '+':
            cout << num1+num2;
            break;

        case '-':
            cout << num1-num2;
            break;

        case '*':
            cout << num1*num2;
            break;

        case '/':
            cout << num1/num2;
            break;

        default:
            // If the operator is other than +, -, * or /, error message is shown
            cout << "Error! operator is not correct";
            break;
    }

    return 0;
}

OUTPUT:
Enter operator either + or - or * or divide : -
Enter two operands:
3.4
8.4
3.4 - 8.4 = -5.0

This program takes an operator and two operands from user.
The operator is stored in variable op and two operands are stored in num1 and num2respectively.
Hope this was helpful if so don't forget to share and comment below..
